Entering Emergency Information

Use the Emergency Info module to retrieve contact information, financial details, and identity details in case of any urgent matter such as theft or fire.

 

First, select the Emergency Info from the Inventory Explorer.

The Emergency Info module will appear in the Browse View. Click the Edit... button to open the Emergency Editor.

Navigate the tabs at the top of the window to move from one section to the next (i.e. Phones, Credit Cards, Financial, Identification, and Other).

 

You will want to enter:

 

Phone numbers (eg. In Case of Emergency person, doctor, lawyer, plumber, family, and friends).
Credit card details and company information - in particular the number to call to cancel the card or to report it stolen.
Bank and insurance company information.
Personal identification information (e.g. social security, medical insurance, driver's license).
Special needs information (eg. medications, allergies, pet info)
Important locations and addresses (eg. child's school, neighborhood/regional meeting place, escape routes)

 

 

Don't forget to store images with your emergency information. Emergency organizations recommend that you store images of loved ones and pets so that if you become separated you will have a ready image to print and distribute. See Attaching Media for more details.
